We want our child to succeed in life. So it is better to start teaching them in their early years. Reading is one of the important things that a child should learn. Here are some tips for helping a child to love reading.
*** Read together with your child everyday.
It is important that you spend atleast 15 minutes each day reading a book together with your child.
*** Reading should be fun.
Reading with your child should be fun and enjoyable. You can change your voice or imitate what you are reading.
*** Teach your child to love reading and don't force him to do it. If he don't want to read then leave him and encourage him later.
*** While reading the book point each word so he can familiarize it.
*** If you can see signs, words, poster, products read it with your child. Example point the signs of the traffic and read what it means.

London Bridge
London Bridge is falling down,
Falling down, falling down.
London Bridge is falling down,
My fair lady.
Build it up with wood and clay,
Wood and clay, wood and clay,
Build it up with wood and clay,
My fair lady.
Wood and clay will wash away,
Wash away, wash away,
Wood and clay will wash away,
My fair lady.
Build it up with bricks and mortar,
Bricks and mortar, bricks and mortar,
Build it up with bricks and mortar,
My fair lady.
Bricks and mortar will not stay,
Will not stay, will not stay,
Bricks and mortar will not stay,
My fair lady.
Build it up with iron and steel,
Iron and steel, iron and steel,
Build it up with iron and steel,
My fair lady.
Iron and steel will bend and bow,
Bend and bow, bend and bow,
Iron and steel will bend and bow,
My fair lady.
Build it up with silver and gold,
Silver and gold, silver and gold,
Build it up with silver and gold,
My fair lady.
Silver and gold will be stolen away,
Stolen away, stolen away,
Silver and gold will be stolen away,
My fair lady.
One of my son's favorite nursery rhymes. He loves to sing this one. And sing it almost everyday around 2 years old and 3 years old.

The Seed
In the heart of a seed
Buried deep so deep
A dear little plant
Lay fast asleep.
"Wake" said the sunshine
And creep to the light.
"Wake said the voice
Of the raindrops bright.
The little plant heard
And it rose to see.
What the wonderful outside
World might be.
Buried deep so deep
A dear little plant
Lay fast asleep.
"Wake" said the sunshine
And creep to the light.
"Wake said the voice
Of the raindrops bright.
The little plant heard
And it rose to see.
What the wonderful outside
World might be.
